Philosophy

At Reynolds Rugrats, I recognise there is nothing more important to a parent than the health and happiness of your child and that is why I strive to provide a place your children will want to be each day. Reynolds Rugrats is designed to be a ‘home away from home’ where everyone is safe and secure to enjoy a flexible program of fun, learning, playtime and social interaction.

At the end of every day, I am not happy unless I am surrounded by happy children and happy parents. I will be paying special attention to all the little things to ensure every parent and child leaves my home with a big smile. When you entrust the care of your child to Reynolds Rugrats, I want you to do so with confidence.

I believe that all children should be treated with equality, and their cultural and linguistic diversity embraced and acknowledged.

Children's self help skills and independence will be encouraged. I will encourage and assist with meal times, dressing, sleeping, toileting and nappy changing.

Children are provided with a balance of active and quiet activities, and a rest time is provided each day. A balance of indoor and outdoor experiences will be provided.

Meals and menus are provided that are fresh, nutritional and well balanced. Safe food handling and hygiene practices are used at all times.

Positive encouragement and reinforcement are used as tools to direct and promote behaviours. Through positive encouragement and experiences I aim to build high self-esteem and self worth.

It is my aim to provide a loving, caring, nurturing environment that promotes each child's learning and development, self esteem and individuality, whilst having a day that's lots of fun!
